At one point we have all wondered what's legal to use when it comes to
downloading, installing software, using images, making CDs, etc. The
use of copy machines that can make PDFs only makes the picture
cloudier. What should we do as teachers and what should we teach our
students? Get some clarity at this workshop.

eSurveys (NEW)
Digital surveys simplify the collection of data. In this
workshop, you will be trained to use a free survey tool which you can
use for all your data collecting needs. Exporting data to Excel
will be covered depending on participants' interest.

Audience
Response Systems (NEW)
Audience response systems are an excellent way to engage
participants, assess learning, gather real-time data, or enhance
presentations. First, Peggy Fowler will showcase how she is using
clickers (a type of audience response system) in her classroom. Then, we
will explore free web-based tools and cell phones as other means to
elicit similar results.

Tablet Sharing Session
(WEBINAR)
It's the final tablet sharing session for
the school year. Share what has worked for you and what has not. Also,
get a quick review of programs that are "ink" enabled.
You need a mic and headset for the session; you can borrow one from Dino
if need be.

We will explore resources to automate the
process of making rubrics and checklists. Please bring a project or
lesson for which you need help developing an assessment tool. Depending
on time, we will also look at other Web 2.0 tools to make your life

End of Year Tech Wrap-Up
This a mandatory session for those new
to the mobile tech program this year. It's a time to share what we
have done with our new tools for learning. Please have a success story
to share with the group. There will be
food. Feel free to bring a treat to share with your colleagues.
