Discourse

Discourse is a tool teachers can use to monitor
each student’s learning. Using Discourse, a teacher creates a series of
questions for students to answer on their computers. The teacher can
monitor each student’s response to each question. It gives teachers 100
percent student participation and real-time assessment. Learn more about

demonstrate the product (which the school owns) and give you a chance to
test out the software.

Rubrics, Checklist, and Technology
We will explore resources to automate the process of making rubrics and
checklists. Please bring a project or lesson for which you need help
developing an assessment tool. We may also look at a free web-based
tool that makes quizzes students can take online.
