Primary Sources
(New!) Primary
sources are snippets of history. They are incomplete and often come
without context. They require students to be analytical, to examine
sources thoughtfully, and to determine what else they need to know to
make inferences from the materials. Through this session you will gain
insight into how to effectively weave primary sources into a variety of
content areas while strengthening instruction; as well as, explore
different formats of primary source materials such as photographs,
manuscripts, maps, etc.
