Concept
Mapping with Inspiration
Organizing information
graphically can be a benefit for students and adults. Inspiration
software is used by many to brainstorm, plan, organize, outline, concept
map, and write. You can definitely apply this tool in any class. Time
permitting, we will also look at timeline creation.

Educational Uses of Webcams
NEW!
Webcams have many educational uses. Most
people think of video conferencing with webcams which is an excellent
application of the technology. However, there are a variety of
uses of webcams for the classroom. Furthermore, many Academy
computers have built-in webcams and we have plenty of cameras that can
be attached to computers. (Webcams will be provided to workshop
participants that need them.)

Cyber Ethics & Safety
The Internet can open up a world of vastly rich

and learning - others may not. The Web can allow students to research,
collaborate and create but it is essential to plan and understand the
potential of this source by providing necessary guidelines to protect
our students.
