Content
This session will help you and your
students evaluate online content. It will cover the topics of decoding
web addresses, locating the owners of web sites, finding out who links
to a web site, viewing sites with different versions of the "truth", and
much more. Come learn the grammar of the Internet.

Rubric and
Checklist Generators
We will explore resources to automate the process of making rubrics and
checklists. Please bring a project or lesson for which you need help
developing an assessment tool. We may also look at a free web-based
tool that makes quizzes students can take online.

Video Editing
(Saturday Session)
First, we will capture video with video cameras or
digital still cameras with movie options. Then, we will edit the video
using Windows Movie Maker. Learn to add transitions, sound tracks,
titles, and more. Much fun! (There is a four person minimum for
this workshop to run.)

Wrap-Up
This a mandatory session for
those new to the mobile tech program this year. It's a time to
share what we have done with our new tools for learning. Don't worry.
It will be a low stress, fun event. Please have a success story to share
with the group. There will be
food. Feel free to bring a treat to share with your colleagues.
