Picasa--Easy Photo Management
In this workshop, we will use a free program
called Picasa to manage and edit digital images. Picasa makes editing
images simple. You will be amazed by what you can do with this free
piece of software. (Please have images available on your hard drive or
the server if you wish to work on your own photos. Sample photos will be
provided for those that don’t have images.)

Photo Story--Bring Photos to Life
Photo Story allows you to
create a show-and-tell presentation using digital photos. Music and/or
voice narration can be added too. Once a Photo Story has been made,
it can be posted on the Web, emailed, or burned on CD or DVD. If a
student can use a mouse, he/she can use Photo Story. (It's a great
alternative to PowerPoint if your focus is photos.)
It's also perfect for Open House displays.

GroupWise for email, it's an obvious choice for appointment
scheduling. Learn to add appointments, keep track of tasks, and
make notes in your calendar. You can view the calendars of others
and export dates from ASHMI.ORG to your GroupWise Calendar.
