PCR Teacher Portal
In this workshop,
you will learn how to use the PCR Teacher Portal for a variety of tasks.
You will be guided to set up your gradebook (if you wish to use it), track attendance, and
use the built in email distribution lists. Tips to save you time
when completing student reports will also be discussed.

Tablet PC Workshop
This four-hour session replaces the initial August workshop
for people new to the Tablet Phase of the Mobile Technology Program that
had to be postponed. Topics to be covered include:
- Using Microsoft Journal as a
digital notepad
- Using Microsoft OneNote as a
digital binder
- Using Classroom Presenter as a
collaborative tool
- Curricular examples
Required of all new Tablet PC users this
school year.

Communicating with GroupWise Everyone uses GroupWise to
communicate in the building, but there are plenty of little known
features to the program. Workshop topics include retracting emails, adding a standard closing, creating
your own distribution lists, and archiving emails. Discover things
you never knew about GroupWise.

Create a classroom web site on our official
school web site! Set up your own classroom calendar,
bulletin board and classroom resources such as handouts and web links.
This workshop is also a good idea if you need a refresher on editing your web
site.

UnitedStreaming
UnitedStreaming is our
online, digital media resource featuring over 50,000 content-specific
video segments, images, audio files, and animations. During this
hands-on workshop, you will have time to create a lesson/multimedia
project for students. We will start with an overview of UnitedStreaming
and then focus on integration strategies.
