Goal:  Create a two-minute audio recording of one group member’s account of his/her strangest day at ASH.             

1. Get into groups of two.  Select one person as the interviewer and one person as the interviewee. 
    

2. Use Audacity to record a short conversation about the interviewee’s strangest day at ASH.   Identify both speakers in the recording.  Record about 2 minutes of audio for your project.
    

3. Next, edit your audio.  Delete anything you wish to remove and clean up the beginning and end.  You final product should be 2 minutes or less in length. 
    

4. Finally, add some “bumper music” to your recording.  Have audio fade in and out as the recording starts and stops.  You can get free music from freeplaymusic.com. 
    

5. Save your project as an Audacity Project. 
    

6. Export your project as an mp3 file.
    

7. Play your mp3 file for the rest of the class.
